Fa la lala la lal al alalalalllahhhhhh and a bonus
Christmas is coming
The goose is getting fat
Please put a penny in the old man's hat.....
Now if you sing that song and perform interpretive dance as you go, it will be quite reminiscient of me, 3 years ago, when I lived in Atlanta.
Two years ago, I was living with my folks singing,
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, how prickley are thou branches...
I was selling trees at a nursery in the cold damp December chill. But at least I was making some money, eh?
Last year, my first year of graduate school, I was probably singing,
The fire is slowly dying but my dear we're still goodbying and as long as you love me so, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....
You know, falling in love and all that fun stuff:)
This year, I have not yet picked an official Christmas theme song but I am considering "Tequila makes her clothes fall off", or "Christmas Wrapping" by the Waitresses.
I have yet to find myself in a truely festive mood. Christmas crafts are running my life. In my current financial status (like swimming in quicksand), I have turned once again to crafting to fulfill my Christmas gift-giving quota.
That's right all you faithful readers, if you post a comment on this entry, I will send you a very very special goodie from the Christmas Craft a la Jessica 2005 line. Always a treat. **post by December 17 or all bets are off**
